So, I was vegging out on the couch last night and caught "Better with you" (a completely inoffensive sitcom with attractive people) and one of the characters, Maddy, had the best work outfit ever. You can only see the top in this shot, but she's got high-waisted wide-leg black pants that look fantastic with the cream silk shirt she's wearing. I love the flowiness of the pants, the cuffs and cut of the shirt. It is conservative (the storyline revolves around her identity as a lawyer), but is pitch perfect for a sophisticated look at the office. It looks expensive, but I'm sure one could find something similar at Banana or Ann Taylor.
