This story about legendary send-offs of journalists after they had been fired or resigned at Slate is not helping me in my attempt to stay focused at work when my project is falling apart and I have an overwhelming urge to stay home with mini-Idgie and take him to the pool.
My absolute favorite line is, "To them I say, with as much gusto as I can muster in an email, fuck you."
